Nicole is a Decorative Arts graduate who specialised in 2D surface design. Since graduating, she moved to working in IT and now works on the Creative Arts Technology team helping NTU students create digital work. She doesn't have a professional creative practice but still has a plethora of crafty hobbies to keep her busy.
As a child I always loved craft kits and fact file books, so I decided to combine the two by designing informative cross stitch kits. The first in the series is Dangerous Mushrooms, with plans for Dangerous Bugs and Dangerous Depths (sea creatures). Many of my friends enjoy cross stitching, so I thought it would make a fun and unique gift idea.
I love how varied my job is and how many different teams I get to collaborate with. I never thought that I would be on a Japanese variety show on national television that's for sure.
