Print Making
Theodora is an educator, an artist and studio member at Backlit gallery. She has participated in artist residencies, and her work has been exhibited in various exhibitions and festivals nationally and internationally. Her work has been awarded prizes and has received commissions and funding from Arts Council England and Goethe Institute. Through various media, such as printmaking, video and textiles, Theodora manipulates materials and plays with abstraction, creating digital collages. She borrows urban forms from public space and reinterprets them in new compositions.
Since 2022, she has been a member of the NTU Natural Dye Garden team and shares her expertise on sustainability, developing natural dye print practices, and enhancing curriculum design at conferences and webinars.
Theodora started her professional career gaining work experience in the cultural sector in Greece, Germany, and England. She holds an MA in Visual and Applied Arts from AUTH, where she also completed her BA specialising in Fine Arts. She also holds an MA in Textile Design from NTU.
Theodora is an artist and educator who works as a technical specialist in print at NTU. Her creative practice spans various fields, including printmaking, video, and textiles. She manipulates materials and plays with abstraction, creating digital collages. She then creates new compositions using traditional printing techniques. The work on display has been created using embossing and drypoint. Most of Theodora's prints with more than one layer have unique state.
